GDPR

Hippoly's committment to the general data protection regulation

As of May 25, 2018, everyone who processes personal data must comply with the EU-wide General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). At Hippoly, we adhere to the requirements and principles outlined in the regulation, and on this page, you'll find information related to our compliance.

Your Rights

As an individual, you have a number of important rights under the GDPR when we process your personal data. How to exercise these rights is described in our Privacy Policy. There, you can also read about what personal data we collect and process, and why we do so. If you are logged in to the service, you can go to your account settings to view the personal data we have stored about you. From there, you can also correct any inaccuracies or delete your personal data by closing your account.

We Protect Your Data

Protecting your personal data and your company’s information is our highest priority at Hippoly. We have implemented a wide range of technical and organizational security measures to ensure that your data is not lost or destroyed and that no unauthorized party can access or misuse it. You can read more about these measures and our security efforts in our Security Policy.

If Hippoly Becomes a Data Processor

Hippoly may act as a Data Processor on your behalf if you use our service to process personal data for which you are the Data Controller. This relationship is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which is part of Hippoly’s Terms of Service and User Agreement.

Our Sub-Processors

To deliver our service, we rely on providers that supply various types of infrastructure. These providers act as Data Sub-Processors and may process certain personal data on our behalf. Hippoly only works with vendors that can demonstrate compliance with our high standards for security and privacy protection. We also sign Data Processing Agreements with each of these providers, outlining how personal data must be handled. A complete list of Hippoly’s sub-processors and their roles can be found in the Data Processing Agreement.
