Hippoly and Responsible Use of AI
Hippoly Intelligence is a framework designed to enhance the features and user experience within Hippoly through various AI applications. A notable component is the personal board assistant, “hi,” which is always ready to answer questions, engage in discussions, provide explanations, and summarize materials.
Integrating AI support directly into Hippoly offers users a more seamless and secure working environment. Users can interact with AI anonymously and confidentially without switching between applications.
Hippoly Intelligence integrates with Azure OpenAI Services to ensure responsible AI usage and protect user privacy and data.
Compliance and Responsible AI
Azure OpenAI Services provides a higher level of data control and security compared to OpenAI’s open API:
- All data sent to Azure OpenAI Services remains within Hippoly’s Microsoft Azure environment and does not interact with any services operated by OpenAI.
- Prompts and generated content are not accessible to other customers or OpenAI.
- Data is not used to improve OpenAI models or any other Microsoft or third-party products.
Data Processing and Storage
Azure OpenAI Services offers clear guidelines for data processing and storage:
- Data is processed within the customer-specified geography, which for Hippoly is Sweden and Ireland.
- The models are stateless, meaning prompts or generations are not stored in the model.
Full Control for Customers and Users
Hippoly grants customers and individual users full control over when the service should utilize AI:
- Customers can choose whether AI features should be active in their workspaces.
- Each user decides when to use AI features, and Hippoly Intelligence always seeks permission before accessing any material.
- All AI functions are personal, and board colleagues do not have access to each other’s communications with Hippoly Intelligence.
Settings for AI functionality in Hippoly can be easily configured within the workspace settings.
