Where should we hold the strategy day? Ask the question as a poll in the feed, and everyone votes right in the post. The answer sits in one place rather than scattered across a thread of replies.

You set the rules for each question: whether several answers are allowed, whether voters can add their own options and when the poll closes. The result stays in the feed, visible to the whole board.

The chat for what doesn’t concern everyone

Send secure messages to one person or a smaller group, with files and images right in the conversation. With the app on your phone you get push notifications, just like a text message.

Direct messages are truly private, not even the workspace administrators can read them.

Not everything belongs in the feed or the shared folder structure. A personnel matter, the CEO’s terms or the working material in a negotiation can be discussed in chat with exactly the people the matter concerns. Files are attached in the conversation or created as new documents on the spot. Only the participants can open them.

When a post is written or a message arrives, you are notified right in Hippoly. On your phone it arrives as a push notification, or by email if you choose.

A post or message you haven’t seen stays unread until you have actually opened it. You never need to wonder whether something passed you by.
