One feed for the whole board

Post an update, a file, a photo or a poll, and Hippoly notifies everyone in the workspace. Comments stay with the post, and Seen by shows who has read it. Admins pin what matters to the top of the feed.

Someone new to the board scrolls back and catches up, instead of asking for a pile of forwarded emails.

Settle the small questions without an email thread

Where should we hold the strategy day? Ask it as a poll in the feed, and everyone votes in the post. You get one result, not 20 replies to count.

For each poll you decide whether people can pick more than one answer or add their own options, and when it closes. The result stays in the feed for the whole board to see.

Direct messages

Private chats for what doesn’t concern everyone

Message one person or a small group, with files and images in the conversation. Call the group Audit committee, and it’s easy to spot in the list of chats. With the app on your phone, messages arrive as push notifications, just like a text.

Only the people in a chat can read what’s said there. Not even your admins can open a direct message.

Sensitive material stays with the people it concerns

Not everything belongs in the feed or the shared folders. Handle a staff matter, the chief executive’s pay or a live negotiation in a chat with the people involved. Upload a file, add one from the workspace or create a new document without leaving the chat. Only the people in the chat can open it.

Need a file later? The Files tab shows everything shared in the conversation, and who shared it.

Notifications

Nothing slips past you

When someone posts or messages you, Hippoly tells you in the app. You can also choose push notifications or email. The notification says that something has happened, never what the message says.

Posts and messages stay unread until you open them, so you can see exactly what you haven’t read.
